Transfer and Withdrawal Limitations
Per Regulation D, you may make up to six transfers and/or withdrawals per statement cycle to another account at the bank or to a third party by means of a pre-authorized or automatic transfer or telephonic (including data transmission) agreement, order or instruction. Violations of this limit on more than an occasional basis may result in the account being closed.

Transfer and Withdrawal Limitations
Per Regulation D, you may make up to six transfers and/or withdrawals per statement cycle to another account at the bank or to a third party by means of a pre-authorized or automatic transfer or telephonic (including data transmission) agreement, order or instruction. Transfers in excess of these limitations will subject the account to a $20.00 fee for each transfer or withdrawal in excess of this limitation. Violations of this limit on more than an occasional basis may result in the account being transferred to a statement savings account.

Individual Retirement Accounts

Traditional IRAs

  • Available to anyone under age 70½ who has annual compensation or who files jointly with a spouse with earned income
  • Additional catch-up contributions available for ages 50+
  • Certain contributions are tax deductible (IRS provides guidelines about claiming a tax deduction for your Traditional IRA contributions)
  • Withdrawals made at or after age 59½ without penalty
  • Must begin withdrawals at age 70½

Roth IRAs

  • Available to anyone regardless of age who has annual compensation and qualifies for the individual’s modified adjusted gross income levels, determined by federal income tax return filing status
  • No withdrawals are required at age 70½

Education IRAs (Coverdell Education Savings Account)

  • Each child under age 18 may have contributions made to a single account or multiple accounts designed to benefit the child
  • Contributions and earnings are tax-free when withdrawn to pay for a child’s education expenses
  • Tax-free withdrawals can be made for college, secondary and elementary school expenses

Health Savings Account (HSA)

  • $100 minimum opening balance required
  • Unlimited check writing & no per check charges
  • No monthly service charge
  • Check & debit card service available to pay medical expenses
  • Convenient combined statements
  • Interest paid on tiered balances
  • Account must have a qualified High Deductible Health Insurance Plan
